Walk & Learn
Every great wayfinding system starts with observation. We walk the site to identify decision points, desire lines, and friction areas where visitors pause, hesitate, or take wrong turns. That fieldwork becomes the basis for an intuitive message plan and signage placement strategy that reduces confusion and improves movement flow.
Deliverables: Site audit map, movement diagram, and prioritized recommendations by location.
Design the System
We build a cohesive visual language that fits your environment. Each sign type—directional, identification, regulatory—is designed within a unified family using consistent typography, iconography, color, and proportion. The goal: clear messages that remain legible at the right distance and speed for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers alike.
Deliverables: Design-intent package with typography hierarchy, color standards, and sample sign elevations.
Message & Map
Once the framework is in place, we craft clear, consistent language. Destination glossaries, panel text, and mapping inserts are all aligned through one master message schedule—ensuring every sign points to the same destinations, uses the same names, and fits together as a readable whole.
Deliverables: Destination glossary, message schedule, sign location plan, and base artwork for maps or inserts.
Build & Install
We oversee fabrication, field verification, and installation to guarantee accuracy from drawings to reality. All signage is constructed from durable materials suited to climate and use. After installation, we deliver complete as-builts and a maintenance plan so every panel can be easily tracked and replaced in the future.
Deliverables: Fabrication drawings, installation plan, as-builts, and maintenance/replacement guide.
